Growning up in Illinois it was always a treat when we would drive to the dunes. Warren Dunes is a beautiful place to spend the day or even a weekend. There is 3 miles of shoreline, and six miles of hiking trails.

You can play on the dunes all day and take a swim in Lake Michigan to cool off. One of the dunes is 260 feet above the lake. It is a wonderful, relaxing place to visit with an awesome swimming beach.
