Van Riper State Park

My favorite campground is Van Riper State Park in Champion. I love it because its very large, it has lots of trees and its on the lake.

Van Riper also has a very homey family atmosphere. There are always a lot of small children running around. There is also a concession stand by the water, there is a beach and you can rent Kayaks and tubes.

I love it there. I moved from Wisconsin to California now....but someday in the future I'd like to return back to Van Riper to enjoy Michigan camping at its best!
