Tunnel Park, Holland, MI

Tunnel Park in Holland, MI is just a couple miles north of Holland's famous Big Red lighthouse. The sand is much cleaner and smoother than the State park located right next to the lighthouse.

Tunnel park has a great grassy area for grilling and picnics, and then it is only a short walk through the dune via the famous tunnel to the water.

The beach is great, with good waves is the weather is right. The swimming is also good, with a very clean bottom. There is usually a good crowd on the weekends, but there is plenty of beach to lay out on.

The beach is also very romantic at sunset (It is where I proposed!).
