Totem Pole Park in Petersburg, Michigan

Our favorite Michigan campground is Totem Pole Park in Petersburg, Michigan. The grounds are private, a combination of seasonal and daily sites at reasonable rates.

The store and wash facilities are clean. The 5 acre pond is stocked. Every Friday and Saturday night, the owner takes kids and parents for a hayride ride around the camp. A quiet, casual, non-denominational service is offered at the pavilion on Sunday mornings.

Themed weekends, such as Christmas in July and Halloween, are planned throughout the season, which runs from mid-April to mid-October.

Best of all, quiet hours are strictly observed!
After a day of camping, who wants to put up with the celebratory sounds of neighboring campsites into the wee hours.
