Tawas Pointe State Park

Tawas Point State Park Campground is located in East Tawas, Michigan. It offers the best of both worlds when camping. The campsites are located on Tawas Bay but you are only have to walk a short distance in the park and you are at Lake Huron.

The park has a light house where you can actually be a lighthouse keeper. It is a magical place when you can walk along the sandy beach's on both the lake side and the bay side. The park has a covered pavilion, access for the handicap and a quaint town where you can shop to your hearts content. My family loves this area and have spent many summers here.

You are also close to a Super Wal-mart in the town of Tawas and several places to dine. You will find this state park to have a relaxing environment and you will have a great time.
