St. Ignace Winter Vacation
St. Ignace is a delightful visit and getaway in the winter. The crowds are gone and you can set a very slow pace and enjoy the local environment. The scenery is awesome with several great viewpoints of the Mackinaw Bridge.
Very reasonable lodging can be found this time of year as well. Tahquamenon Falls, Sault Ste. Marie, and several casinos are within an hours drive.
At last count there were eleven Indian run casinos in the U.P.,if your into that.
Snowmobiling, ice fishing, and hunting, is never far away either.
I'm more into the sightseeing of the
winter scenery, myself, which is a vision most anyone will appreciate.
Yeah, it gets cold, so dress and prepare warmly, so you can sample all the area has to offer.
