This beautiful location has it all - sand, warm sun, and two lakes - Silver Lake and Lake Michigan.

Located on the western shore of Lake Michigan, between Ludington and White River, Silver Lake lies on the sand dunes, a compellingly beautiful feature of the southwestern shores of the lake.

Take a ride on Mac's Sand buggies, or search the dunes for fulgarates - phenomena that occur when lightning strikes the sand and forms tubes of glass.

Rest on the sand next to Little Sable Lighthouse...open to the public on summer weekends.

Camp at the state park, or drive into Mears (only a few miles away) and pick up a sandwich. Whatever you are looking for, don't look anywhere else until you have visited Silver Lake - one of the most beautiful places in the world.
