It's perfect for the whole family. It has 3 huge outstanding playground sets, sugar sand, the Historic North Pier Lighthouse, clean bathrooms, restaurant/food area, sidewalks for biking, walking/running, pushing a stroller, or rollerblading, sporting store with kayak, umbrella, beach chair, and various other rentals, lifeguards on duty.

It was voted one of the Top Ten Beaches to visit in Parent's Magazine. It's also walking distance from quaint downtown St. Joseph where there are numerous restaurants, unique shops for all ages, art and antique galleries, and sidewalk cafes overlooking beautiful Lake Michigan. It's hands down the best vacation spot ever!
