Rogers City Beach and Lakeside Park

The beach on Lake Huron in Rogers City is a fantastic place. The beach is a wide expanse of beautiful sand with the rolling waves of Lake Huron on one side and a large, family-friendly park on the other. The swimming area is clearly marked and has a sloping bottom that’s easy on the feet and allows toddlers and adults an excellent opportunity to wade and swim.

We have visited the beach, and park, many times while vacationing in the area. The beach has always been very clean and has never been over-crowded. The other visitors we’ve encountered have always been very friendly.

The park has picnic benches and grills, two play areas with swings, slides and a playscape, a snack bar, a large, indoor picnic area with lavatories, a bandstand and several nautical relics. The beach and park are located in downtown Rogers City adjacent to the marina.
