Porcupine Wilderness

There are great cabins in the Porcupine wilderness in Ontonagon, Michigan...just a short hike in from the road. There are some near the lake or some along rivers in the woods.

If you are up for a short hike in, you have total seclusion in a cozy cabin with a stove. You are in a wilderness area, so there aren't really any amenities nearby, but sometimes that is perfect.

Bring in some good books, wine, warm boots, and a sense of adventure. We are going for an after-the-holidays escape!

If winter camping isn't for you, it is also amazing in the summer - thimble berries everywhere!
