Hometown Vacation TipsSubmitted by Daniel C.My hometown is Pentwater, Michigan, and I must say it’s great for what it is...a chance to visit there is having a chance to relax and escape. The must-see shopping is “The Bitchen Kitchen”, almost for the name alone. The quality of the cooking products inside is like no other, but the name is something that has to be seen. 
Dune rides are always a great family time, and Mac Wood has a great company to organize the tours. Sandy Korner’s Adventures is a fun off-roading time; nothing like taking a jeep deep out on some dirt paths. Bed and Breakfast’s are the best food around, most recognized is Pentwater Abbey Bed and Breakfast. It’s a great place to stop, sleep, and refuel. The dune tours and the views are by far the must-sees of the area. Cottages can always be rented as well, and are a great time to get away from life’s rough times, and relax in peace.
