Oscoda Public Beach, Oscoda, MI

Visitor Favorite Beach: We always camp in Glennie, Mi. at the rustic campgrounds and enjoy our time there. While there, we always like to take a day and drive over to Oscoda and spend the day at the public beach.

They have a huge beach area, an awesome boardwalk the length of the beach that has shaded areas with benches to rest and people watch, a great play area for kids which is in between the grassy picnic area and the boardwalk (so you can keep an eye on the kiddies while they play). We make a whole day of it and cookout, there are plenty of picnic tables and grills for everyone. If you like walking the beach... well it goes on for miles and miles with the waves slapping at your feet.

Every time we leave we can't help but say "what a great day".
