McLain State Park Near Hancock Michigan

Visitor Favorite Michigan Campground: Mclain State Park is the cleanest, well maintained, and very quiet park that I know of.
The sunsets are truly awesome in good weather. It has a large picnic area with swings and other equipment available. The area has a lot to offer. Forty miles north there is Fort Wilkins, lake Fanny Hoe.
Quincy Mine atop Quincy hill is a nice place to visit. Seven miles east from the park on M-203 is Calumet in Michigan Historical Park.
