Mackinaw City KOA, Mackinac, Mi

Mackinaw City KOA Campground

Mackinaw City KOA Campground

Love the Mackinaw City area! I visited there Sept.25-Oct 1,2008.

It is so peaceful this time of year, the crowds are gone, and the scenery is beautiful.

Mackinaw Island is just a ferry ride away, many
interesting historical sites close by, and the
Mackinaw Bridge at night is an awesome view.

My husband loves the last week of trout fishing here in the nearby streams and says the fishing is great in late September and you have it nearly all to yourself.

Great places to eat close by, fudge shops, and
shop it yourself supermarkets as well. Some local
casinos for the nightlife and karaoke, too. And don't forget an evening campfire at your campground site.

Great atmosphere for a relaxing and enjoyable camping stay in Michigan.
