Mackinac Island

Mackinac Island Arch Rock

Mackinac Island Arch Rock

Mackinac Island is a beautiful island that's just a 20 minute boat ride from Mackinaw City or St. Ignace.

No cars are allowed on the island; travel is by horse, bike or foot. Stop into a deli and take a picnic lunch to Marquette Park, then visit one of the many fantastic fudge shops. Walk along the boardwalk and see breathtaking views of the Mackinac Bridge or relax on the longest porch in the world at the Grand Hotel.

See beautiful natural limestone formations, such as Arch Rock and Sugarloaf, during a nature walk. After shopping at one of the many gift shops, enjoy a drink and live music at the Pink Pony, Horn's Bar or any one of the numerous other bars and restaurants all within a few blocks of each other.
