Grand Haven Sunset

Last Summer my husband and I took a trip to Grand Haven over Labor Day weekend. We are both originally from Washington State.


This was my first visit to Lake Michigan. I was surprised at the beauty of the sandy beaches and the calmness of the water.

Growing up in Washington State I am accustomed to beaches with rocky shores, crashing Pacific Ocean waves and the smell of salty sea air.

Needless to say, we had a lovely time in Grand Haven and enjoyed our break on the beach.
