Gaylord Michigan

Visiting Gaylord Michigan? Then you are in for a treat. Here are some great ideas for your next vacation there.

Winter Vacation Fun

Gaylord Michigan
In the winter, let Gaylord welcome you to the home of snowmobile heaven in Michigan!

When you bring your family to Gaylord you can't help but want to take a ride on over 300 miles of trails that are groomed for safety, and enjoying the scenery around you.

The high elevation, large snowfall and great scenery also make Gaylord great for a downhill ski vacation. The local Treetops Resort offers 23 fabulous ski runs, complete with three chairlifts and tow ropes. There is also a terrain park and a half-pipe, filled with jumps, moguls and other extras for skiers who like a challenge.

Summer Too!

Visiting in the summer? Why not try outdoor exploring with Gaylord’s 90 small lakes, major rivers and the Pigeon River State Forest? The Pigeon River Forest has 105,000 acres of some of the best hiking anywhere in Michigan! Some of the trails are even accessible to mountain bikes.

Gaylord Golf
And don’t forget your clubs! With 21 outstanding golf courses, which include some championship golf designed by some of America's top golf course designers, the Gaylord area is your dream golf destination!

No matter what time of year you plan to visit… today Gaylord is considered one of the fastest growing areas and are already well known for our snowmobiling, skiing, golfing, nostalgic state forests and roaming elks that really can make for a both a quaint and exciting vacation at the same time.
