Visitor Family Resort Review: American Oak Resort is one of Houghton Lake’s largest resorts, with 11 units. It's great for family reunions, large gatherings, or single family cabin and chalet rental.

They offer pontoon boat, fishing boat, Ski Boat and wave runner rental. Also ORV (4 wheeler) rental year round and snowmobile rental in the winter. Close to shopping, nightlife, and ORV and snowmobile trails. Ride right from your unit.

It is on Michigan’s largest inland Lake, with 22,000 acres to boat, fish and swim.
